Men Have a Fear of Intimacy ~ Fact of Fiction?

A common reason for a man’s fear of intimacy could be due to their past. Men won’t commit if they have witnessed their parents in the past arguing or rowing and these experiences cause many men to fear intimacy. Their childhood memories could be an unhappy one. They may not have been brought up in a happy family household. If their parents didn’t get along then they would have seen this situation as normal family life and will damage a man’s perception of relationships and his fear of intimacy. A mans fear of commitment will cause him to become much more cautious of committing himself to a stable relationship if he has been brought up in an unhappy environment.
