New Thought Movement and the Power of the Law of Attraction
The New Thought Movement occurred during the time of theoreticians like Ernest Holmes who spoke highly of a value-based social structure, where an individual would be at the seat of power. The New Thought Movement strives for rational thinking and a rational attitude to life and removing the concepts of magic or other misconceptions. The Law of Attraction is a school of New Thought that teaches us that a persons thought process, emotions and attitude influence their outcome in life. The New Thought theory explains that we are capable of manifesting remarkable changes in our lives, through effective thought management and rightful utilization of our positive thought. New Thought spiritual books and New Thought healing have become extremely popular methods that are transforming the minds and lives of thousands of people world wide. The Law of Attraction also supposes that strong focus to an optimistic way of thinking can also help one to overcome any negative situations in life.
The Law of Attraction is often closely associated with New Thought Movement and the two are similar in a number of ways. The Law of Attraction and the New Thought Movement both suggest we should have a full understanding of our wants, the ends we wish to achieve and the means to accomplish it. Thus, the it is in harmony with the Law of Attraction, and is in favor of self analysis and examination along with transparency of thought and action.
The goal or the end, according to the Law of Attraction is aimed at bringing about our maximum happiness by employing our mental powers. The New Thought Movement, on the other hand, transcends to universal goodness which implies that individual contribution leads to the fulfillment of a cosmic end. This again points out those collective efforts, which is a combined work of all individual leads the accomplishment of a mission, which may seem impossible to attain otherwise. Thus, the New Thought Movement, which is a commonly association with the Law of Attraction, is similar to it in a number of ways and is also an extension of the latter.

WOW! i been searching the web for long long time to find others like me .. first of all excellent article . I am 30 i want to talk with someone like your selves . im alone in my way of thinking .. i left home young and went out into the world i never went home .. Ive met alot of wise people . I spend most of my time now blowing theories out of the water . you know people well educated that have spent long time training . sometimes im wrong ..
k here goes .. bear with me . Ive seen 11 11 on clock since i was about 13 . and 111 222 in alsorts of places . at night i can see red dots in the atmosphere they are not caused by my eyes like experts say i know this cause i can swish them between my fingers like a hand through water . i want people to understand that everything here on this earth that we learn is made up by us and passed on by us . what if we are wrong . eg a colour blind test someguy makes a test years ago to tell me im colourblind i promise you im not evn though i fail his test. the only way he could make the statement is if he could see though both pairs of eyes … is the glass half empty ? or is it half full? stupid question new generation the answer is depends if we just put the water in or just tipped it out .if just put is half full . just tipped out is half empty …. time we have leap year every four years to keep time in order or over time day would be night . we made time up to fit the earths cycle … my point is people what if we are wrong there is more to this our existence … i have evolved my own spirit because of these things that happen … the end of the world next year based soley on the mayan calender coming to a end … this is where we got our time from the ancient mayans apparently . instead of jumping to scary conclusions how about they wrote the calender long enough to out live them and stopped . they cant write it to affinity would have stopped when they ran out of wall to draw on…..
society is in a state of awakening it is confused and pretyy much moral wise going off the rails ..The guy above this post man take my hat off too you mate you are helping people that will never understand its not there fault…look at all these tsunamis and volcanos earth quakes dont stress people we have about 4000 years of history at a guess against millions of years of catastrophic events … before our brains got so big and smart we relied more on our instinct to get things done . this is your subconscious the gut feeling it used to run the show but now we are strong and can overide the feeling of hurting someone or doing something bad . the body has two personalities in it conscious .and subconscious it is important to realise one runs on emotion and one runs on thought .. they must get along or depression gets you .. you know when ya do something wrong when you are a kid that burn deep inside ya knew when ya did it it was wrong our brains are strong enough to overide the feeling this is a burden that grow heavy on your soul must break the cycle ..
sorry to carry on i was just excited with the type of people on here my angle in life is to be free and i used to think money will make me free .. but it wont it is me that has the power to free myself when you start to understand that no one really knows and in the end none of this will matter it is what it is . …
this positive spiritual way of thinking will take a few generations to take hold … if any one like talking random stuff i hardly ever get to share got to live two lives society is not ready .and i dont even know why i started to get some of this out … and the guy up top who reckons ya cant get behind a unique quote ya missed the point mate maybe next year..run along…kok

Good post Bryan. That goes to show everyone that LOA or the law of “Cause and Effect” is nothing new. It’s been working since the beginning of time. But if everyone can learn how the universe works, a lot of this nonsense we are seeing in the world today can cease. But my job is to help one person at a time until we call can “get what’s going on” if you will. Please share this link with as many as you can.
