The Death of Michael Jackson: A Tribute to A Shining Star

June 28th, 2009

As the world mourns the death of Michael Jackson I’d like to offer a different way to view the death of Michael Jackson. As we all know Michael Jackson is one of the biggest stars of all time, his music and his face are known world wide but what do we know about the man Michael Jackson. Many people would consider Michael Jackson to be strange but what is the definition of strange?

We often wonder how celebrities or rich people can be unhappy and because of the misconception that money and fame bring happiness people are often very critical in passing judgment on those that fall into this category of “rich and famous”. The death of Michael Jackson has become a world phenomenon that will be noted in the history books just like the death of another very famous icon Elvis Presley (The King). Michael Jackson brought happiness into the lives of millions of people, can you think of a Michael Jackson song and how it effected your life?

The death of Michael Jackson may seem like a bad tragedy but if we think of it from another perspective it is also a release for Michael Jackson who had become a hostage to his own talents. Because of Michael Jackson’s amazing musical talents he became a target of attention for doing something he loved to do. The death of Michael Jackson allows him to be free, free from his own fame, criticism and turmoil. I hope that stars like Michael Jackson, Ed McMahon and Farah Faucet realize the joy they have brought into the lives of millions if not billions of people.

Michael Jackson’s life is the manifestation of the American dream, and the death of Michael Jackson breeds proof of the cycle of life and death. In our life experience we must do all we can to see our dreams come true. Who would have that that 5 brothers from Gary Indiana would take the world by storm? Michael Jackson is proof that anything is possible and his life is to be celebrated and not mourned. Michael Jackson lived a full life and experienced many different things on his travels, he achieved the ultimate which is self realization that anything is possible and that dreams do come true.

The death of Michael Jackson is not the ending of  story it’s just the ending of a chapter in the history of the world. Live your life to the fullest and believe that anything is possible and dreams do come true! To improve your quality of life check out this video. Click Here for video!

New Thought Movement and the Power of the Law of Attraction

June 19th, 2009

The New Thought Movement occurred during the time of theoreticians like Ernest Holmes who spoke highly of a value-based social structure, where an individual would be at the seat of power. The New Thought Movement strives for rational thinking and a rational attitude to life and removing the concepts of magic or other misconceptions. The New Thought Movement supposed that ones rewards in life is directly related to ones contributions towards the fulfillment of your mission or purpose. The New Thought Movement, like the Law of Attraction works on methods such as developing a positive outlook, meditation, affirmations and consciousness. All the methods suggested by the New Thought Movement and the Law of Attraction are aimed at making an individual conscious of their power and EMPOWERS us to make our dreams manifest by the correct application of positive thought energy.

The Law of Attraction is a school of New Thought that teaches us that a persons thought process, emotions and attitude influence their outcome in life. The New Thought theory explains that we are capable of manifesting remarkable changes in our lives, through effective thought management and rightful utilization of our positive thought. New Thought spiritual books and New Thought healing have become extremely popular methods that are transforming the minds and lives of thousands of people world wide. The Law of Attraction also supposes that strong focus to an optimistic way of thinking can also help one to overcome any negative situations in life.

The Law of Attraction is often closely associated with New Thought Movement and the two are similar in a number of ways. The New Thought Movement refers to a set of religious ideas that emerged under Phineas Parkhurst Quimby in the United States towards late 19th century. The theory is inspired by Transcendental philosophy and the believers preach monism and use of affirmative prayers and thoughts for the fulfillment of their ends. The New Thought theory operates on a scientific way of thinking focusing upon positive thought and belief in individual abilities. Both Law of Attraction and the New Thought Movement agree upon the power of mind in creating reality.

The New Thought Movement like the Law of Attraction places the individual above society and goes a little further by speaking in favor of a value-based society where the individual mind is the driving force behind all activities.

The Law of Attraction parallels New Thought theory by speaking in favor of positive thinking and mental responsibility. Positive thinking leads one to take a positive attitude towards life and this is reflected in changed circumstances. He who chalks out the pros and cons of every situation is able to make the best even out of an uncomfortable condition. The ability to learn from failures by adapting a positive  attitude helps overcome drawbacks by turning them into strengths. Positive thinking, which is one of the chief principles of both the New Thought Movement and the Law of Attraction, also underlines the importance of a strong mental integrity.

Mental integrity or unity of thought, in the light of the New Thought Movement implies a feeling of confidence and belief for ones thought and abilities. The Law of Attraction and the New Thought Movement both suggest we should have a full understanding of our wants, the ends we wish to achieve and the means to accomplish it. Thus, the it is in harmony with the Law of Attraction, and is in favor of self analysis and examination along with transparency of thought and action.

The goal or the end, according to the Law of Attraction is aimed at bringing about our maximum happiness by employing our mental powers. The New Thought Movement, on the other hand, transcends to universal goodness which implies that individual contribution leads to the fulfillment of a cosmic end. This again points out those collective efforts, which is a combined work of all individual leads the accomplishment of a mission, which may seem impossible to attain otherwise. Thus, the New Thought Movement, which is a commonly association with the Law of Attraction, is similar to it in a number of ways and is also an extension of the latter.

Exercise also keeps your body toned and increases your metabolism, so that you burn more calories even when you are not exercising.

Do diets online offer any kind of support? It’s easier to lose weight without support. While on your online diet most of your support will come from family and friends, but most diets online weight loss plans can give you daily email encouragement, diet tips, a forum and other types of support.

Do diets online have an educational component? Do you get information on how to nutrition, exercise and general health with your online diet?

Do diets online have a behavioral component? Are you encouraged and given tools to track your eating so that you can discover reasons why you eat, when you eat, etc. and begin to modify your eating habits?
